Abby is a full spectrum doula dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. With a passion for reducing maternal and infant health disparities, Abby provides compassionate, evidence-based care to underserved communities. As a recipient of this lactation scholarship, Abby is committed to expanding access to breastfeeding support and improving health outcomes for families who need it most.

Carina is a second generation Filipinx/El Salvadoran queer and revolutionary full-spectrum birthworker and astrologer. Carina is a also a peer body feeding counselor and is excited to begin their journey to becoming a Certified Lactation Counselor. In an effort to embrace both of Carina's ancestral lineages, Carina is committing to the re-learning of advocacy and support for families on their journeys of pregnancy, labor, postpartum, miscarriage, loss, and abortion — informed by ancestral guidance, communal participation, and intuition. In re-membering this ancient wisdom, Carina rejects harmful patriarchal systems and resists colonial structures of all forms.
